I Have a Menagerie of Creatures in the Books I Pen

I have a menagerie of creatures in the books I pen. They range anywhere from reptiles and amphibians, to avians and those with mammalian characteristics. Reptiles may be covered in fur and sea creatures don feathers along with scales allowing them to soar below and above the water.

Alternate beings emulate insects, arachnids, or bug like organisms with attributes from both.

These beasts abide undercover, underground, underwater, in forest-lands, wastelands, ice, fire, space, and hover in the air for a lifetime.

They lie dormant, they lie in pieces, they’re invisible, and some are made from the strongest substance in the universe.

Some are a quarter of a mile tall, while others top out at a quarter inch. Most are carbon based; some are based on silicone and extract oxygen from rocks.

These creatures run the gambit, from high intelligence with articulate speech to dumb as a ten-pound box of stupid.

Occasionally, a biped will cross the line of time and secure its place in an alternate dimension.

What it boils down to is I have control over those who dare cross into my domain as an author. Might sound pretty cool and in a way I guess it is. Even though my domain is a mighty small place and growing smaller every day, I’ll let you in on a secret. It’s smaller than you think, more like minuscule and contains enough power to rival a dehydrated drop of water.

Have a great Monday and while you’re at it have a better Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. . . if it doesn’t slip your mind slide Saturday and Sunday in to the mix.

Take time to reach out to the true creator of all things. He loves you more than you know.
